For the second straight year, Gorno
Transportation Services, Inc. of Brownstown, MI has been awarded
Future 50 status in an annual competition sponsored in conjunction
with the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The future 50 are sited for their
exceptional performance in such key areas as revenue and job growth.
Gorno has been balanced growth in
the dedicated

services, truckload, and drayage
segments and over the last two years has seen strong double-digit
growth.
Company officials said
the largest expansion has been in the neighboring Ontario
market. "At a time when other trucking companies have
avoided the cross border challenges, we have embraced it. Over
thirty trucks based in Canada have been added within the last year
alone," a company statement said.

Wes
Wood, current President of the DIA-OFA, presented outgoing President
Rene Arnal with a Presidents Gavel Plaque in recognition
of his past service to the association. The
presentation was made during
ceremonies at the dinner meeting on Sept. 15, 2005.
