Operation Good Cheer needs our help…Do you have truck power?
OGC is looking for truck power and containers to pick up toys from participating companies and take to the goods over to Pentastar in Waterford on Thursday, 12/2/21 & Friday 12/3/21. Please contact Sherry for details.

We are thrilled to be celebrating 50 years of Operation Good Cheer (OGC) in 2021. We want you all to know we could not make this happen without you. This is our first email to give you the dates and are looking to get some feedback that your company and team will again be participating in OGC.
1. The dates for 2021 are Friday, Dec. 3, 2021 & Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021
2. We are back at Pentastar Aviation once again at the Oakland International Airport.
3. Friday, December 3rd will be our gift collection day throughout SE Michigan
4. Saturday, December 4th will be gift deliver day again throughout SE Michigan, we have a few additional locations again this year as we did in 2019 for those of you who helped us deliver to airport locations.
Due to Covid in 2020, we moved all 18,960 gifts by ground transportation except for 1 flight to the Upper Peninsula, in the same 2-day period as usual. This would not have been possible without a very large warehouse and all of your companies continued support and generosity. We are very grateful to you all for “making Christmas Wishes come true” for 6,320 children in Michigan in 2020.
Many transportation companies have made this a company event and your entire offices have showed up to load or unload at the hanger. Our destinations love meeting your drivers, who are always so patience, helpful, kind and professional.
In 2021, we have 86 foster care agencies participating and more than 6,400 children anxiously awaiting Christmas.
This a “callout” to the transportation companies that have assisted us in the past with OGC, to see who will join us again in 2021? Please respond by email or call me personally if we can count on your company again.
